A real aphrodisiac

I must admit that one of my biggest weaknesses are male voices. There is almost nothing as pleasant and attractive as a deep male voice. Like is it possible to fall in love with a voice because I think that my brain is experiencing it. I would describe it as an unexplained urge to listen to it and the words that are pronunced don't really matter here, it is all about the sound, just the sound that make you feel safe and calm. And when it becomes a little bit husky and it gives you shivers that go down your spine - this is something incredible, I just love it:) I consider a deep male voice the most appealing element of man's body. Like seriously, nothing can be compared to it:)

Let the heart have a good cry

2 days ago I went to the cinema with my friends to watch the last part of The Hunger Games. I must admit that the movie was simply amazing, the special effects were well made, like everything was just on point. But there was one scene that touched me so hard that the tears just couldn't stop running down my face. It was one of the closing scenes where Katniss were lying on the sofa, covered with a blanket and then suddenly the cat that belonged to her sister Prim appeared in the room. Katniss told the animal to get out because Prim wasn't there and when she noticed that the cat wasn't reacting to her words she bursted into tears and started yelling at it that Prim died and that she would never come back. In the end she took the cat and cuddled to it. In my opinion this scene wins everything. It perfectly shows that sometimes the smalest things that were a part of someone who we loved so much and who is no longer with us are enough to make our heart recall the memories, the pain that we tried to ignore it all this time. However I am convinced that those moments are really necessary. Those moments release us from the sadness, let us pit against the sorrow and just have a good cry to get rid of bad emotions that are burning us from the inside. To sum up, I consider this scene the most beautiful in the whole movie. Of course I recommend the movie to all of you who are the fans of Suzanne Collins' book 'The Hunger Games'.

Say you love me...

Hi guys!:)Today I want you to listen to a song which in my opinion deserves to be called 'masterpiece'. 'Say you love me' is about uncertainty, hestistation, longing, romantic yearning, an uncontrollable desire to be loved, to be important to the person who stole your heart. The lyrics were mostly written by incredible Jessie Ware and Ed Sheeran. 'Say you love me' is sang only by the woman and it is included in Jessie Ware's second studio album called 'Tough Love' that came out in 28 september 2014.
Personally I love this song. It is marvelous, awe-inspiring, it really has no peer. There is thousands of sad songs about love but this one really stands out against others. There are moments when Jessie Ware's voice can give you chills all over your skin. The lyrics, the melody, the emotions that accompany every word make the whole work unique. I highly recommend this song to anyone who loves romantic and touching songs:)

Learning from mistakes

I bet that all of us had at least that one moment in our lives when we wanted to rewind time so badly and change the past. Those wrong choises of ours that do not stop haunting us, that awake us in the middle of the night, the awful words that we regret, all the consequences that could have been avoided if we were a little bit smarter. Life is truly complicated, there isn't any instructions to how it should be used or what button we should click to make it work properly. To survive we usually listen to all the advices that are given to us from people who are older and wiser, we learn from their bad decisions but at the end of the day we realize that despite all the knowledge we already have it is impossible to avoid making our own mistakes. I think that it is something we just have to get used to. Not every bad experience is just a painful memory that should be bury in the sand. Sometimes it is a really hard lesson that can teach us something new. I am really sorry if that post sadden you I really didn't want to do it. I thought I would try and convince you that bad experience can paradoxically help us to not repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Life is full of unexpected events that cannot be predicted. The older we get the more we become convinced of it.
I hope this reflection about life will help you somehow maybe:) Take care of yourselves! See ya!:)

Flying beauties

Butterflies. In my opinion those little insects are one of the most beautiful and mysterious creatures that inhabit our planet. Those magical living beings delight people with marvelous appearance, charm and grace. Butterflies are an important part of the nature. Those pretty creatures pollinate flowers but also they engage in sowing the seeds that has a positive influence over environment. Colourful wings are the biggest triumps of those 'flying beauties'. One of the wings is an ideal mirror image of the other. I guess not all of you are aware that the flutter of butterflies wings can cause a hurricane. It is deeply connected with chaos theory. There is a phenomenon called the butterfly effect, the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state. The butterfly effect has become a popular motif for a lot of books, movies and recently for a lot of games like Life is strange, Until down or Resident evil.

The Gran Torino

Today I love to share with you my personal thought about Gran Torino, an incredible movie drama movie directed by Clint Eastwood.

At first a little discription of the plot:

The story is about Walt Kowalski, an American of Polish descent, who is a Korean War veteran. Walt is an eldery, widowed man who seems to be stiff and indifferent towards his own beloved ones. At the beginning of the movie the audience gets an opportunity to observe the behaviour of the members of his closest family which simply approves that the bonds between the man and his sons are very weak, almost non-existent. Underneath Walt's pretty hard exterior he is an honest and kind-hearted person who brings himself to deal with the issues on his own. The main plot begins when Walt catches young imigrant Thao attempting to steal his car, Ford Gran Torino. Members of Thao's family are Hmong Americans who are also our main character's neighbours. Despites all the difficult circumstances and culture's distinctiveness Walt and Thao reach an agreement and the eldery man becomes a true rolemodel for young Asian.
I must say I truly enjoyed this movie. The questions about life and death that are spoken in Gran Torino make you think about your own actions and the rightness of the path they have chosen in their lives. The main character is a truly unusual man whose awful and sad past taught him how precious is humans life and that murdering is the worst, the ugliest crime people can commit. Walt approves that taking someone's life is unforgivable and unforgettable that will haunt you till your last days. What is absolutely amazing about this movie is that you are able to observe the bond between main character and young Asian imigrant that slowly becoming stronger day by day. The attachement, the friendship between those two that grows everyday is simply touching. In general all the characters are believable, every one of them has its own beliefs, goals and problems they have to solve. One of the biggest strengths of the movie is that the end is really unexpected and shocking. The acting is the other strength of the movie. The role of Walt Kowalski simply approves that Clint Eastwood is a briliant and very talented actor. This prodution also gives an opportunity to meet a culture that a really small group of people is aware of its existing. The only negative thing I would say about the movie is that some scenes can be really brutal, especially for people who are very sensitive.
I would highly recommend this movie. It is made very neatly and professionally. The actors can really enrapture you with their acting skills. The story is extremely gripping, it will not let you get bored :)

Japanesse style of wearing!

Welcome back my dear readers!:)

It was such a long break and I bet that a lot of you was convinced that the blog would be deleted but as you can see it is coming back to life!:) I hope the ones who decided to stay with me a little longer (or should I say the patient ones) are doing great and are ready for some new posts full of interesting stuff:) So let's begin!

I guess a lot of you noticed that I truly love Japan and its culture. Today I would like to present you a japanese collection of male kimonos which was created by Jotaro Saito, such a skilled kimono designer.
Here you have a short note that will help you understand what a kimono actually is:
*kimono - is a Japanese traditional garment; today kimono are usually worn by women and on special occasions. On streets you can see older people still wearing it on daily basis. Men wear the kimono ordinarily at weedings, tea ceremonies, and other very formal events;

The collection was presented during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Tokyo this year. The kimonos are pretty modern and unique, the colours are subdued or rather dark (black and brown). The whole collection is beautifully custom-made and it is really praiseworthy. In my opinion is simple but sexy! I must also admit that models look very attractive in these kimonos:)

Among the trees of Nibel

Hi guys! Today I would like to present you a game whose appearance literally took my breath away. It is called Ori and the Blind Forest who was created by Moon Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. It was released on 11 march this year.
In the game we impresonate Ori who as a little leaf fell from the Spirit Tree in the forest of Nibel during a storm and was adopted by a mysterious creature named Naru. She was the one who raised our main character as her own child. One day an unforeseen cataclysme ruined the land making all the plants wither and unable to bear fruits. After a little while Naru died and Ori is left all alone, forced to explore the forest on his own.
I must admit that I've never seen such a beautiful graphics in a game. It's just marvelous! Our main character's appearance is just lovely, he looks like a little puppy with such long ears:) Ori's cuteness really can make you fall in love with him!:) What is really pleasant are the sounds of the forest that accompany you through the whole time while you play:)
I truly recommand you this game, it's just simply worth to see!

Oishi!

Today I would like to recommand you a japanesse delicacy called: sushi!:) I bet a lot of you seeing those 5 letters want to puke but really there is no need to do that. I am a really stubborn person so I always insisted on opinion that it just must taste awful without testing it myself. In my head it looked like this: raw fish + seaweed = puke . But a couple months ago I decided to give it a chance. I was completely astonishing by its appearance and taste! It was so well prepared with a few endibles additives that made the plate looked even more attractive and delicious!:) I just couldn't believe how wrong I was. My opinion on sushi has changed dramatically. The only disadventage of this delicacy is that it is usually so expensive but at least it is really worth its prize! So if your opinion on sushi is based only on your idea of it, don't let it blocking you and at first taste it to form your opinion correctly:) See ya!:)
Oishi! - means 'delicious!' in japanesse:)
